My Background

I began my exploration of psychological therapies while working with offenders in London prisons. I initially trained in CBT based therapies under the aegis of the Forensic Psychology Department.

I went on to study Gestalt Therapy, Transactional Analysis (TA) and Person-Centred Therapy at Wealden Psychology Institute and Bexhill College, achieving a combined Diploma in Integrative Counselling. I later gained a Diploma in Trauma Therapy from Wealden Psychology Institute before qualifying as an Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist in order to treat trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) more effectively.

I currently work for the NHS as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and an EMDR Trauma Psychotherapist.

I am a registered & accredited member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists).
